DSI Tech Services offers remote helpdesk support to any of our current clientele. Our software allows us to establish a remote control session to your computer. The person connecting to your computer will be able to see your desktop, move your mouse pointer, and type commands. Please close any private or confidential documents, photos, or web pages before initiating support.

Allow your IT admin to access this computer

    It may be in your Downloads folder.
  3. Give the 9-digit number to your IT admin.

When you want to end the support session, be sure to quit the program.This ensures your computer cannot be remotely accessed any more until you download and run the program again.

How does SOS work?

You download and run our software. You give us the 9-digit code generated, and we connect to your computer.

Do I need any special configurations?

The software only requires a connection to the internet. It doesn’t require any configuration to your system or your company firewall.

Who can connect?

The software is preconfigured to direct connect to DSI Tech Services LLC staff ONLY.

All remote sessions are protected with TLS and 256-bit AES encryption.
All connections, file transfers, and management events are logged.
Remote access is further protected by device authentication, two-step verification, and multiple 2nd-level password options.
Splashtop helps support HIPAA compliance.

Will you connect later without me knowing?

Absolutely not! When the support session is over, the software will automatically be removed from your system when the SOS application is closed. No DSI Tech Services staff will be able to control your computer.

The SOS Streamer is used for advanced support needs, and will allow us to reboot your computer and connect to it as needed. We will remove the software when it is no longer needed.

Installation & Troubleshooting Tips

  1. Respond yes to any Windows prompts (Also known as UAC or User Account Control)
  2. You may need to run as a different user (local admin) for certain functions
  3. Verify you can reach the Splashtop servers http://www.splashtop.com/check
